Health Ingredients Europe 2018

Europe's leading health, natural and nutrition show

This year the IPD accompanies reliable companies from Egypt, Colombia and Kyrgyzstan to the HiE fair in Frankfurt.

Are you looking for a specific product? And you want to be sure that the product quality is good, the supplier reliable?

We will connect you with selected exporters of natural ingredients and arrange individual B2B meetings directly at the trade fair. Our companies will bring along a variety of products at HiE 2018.

The Egyptian company Tiba Starch & Glucose Manufacturing will be presenting, for example, food-grade maltodextrin, glucose and rice protein. Rice protein is a still little known superfood, which is not only extremely nutritious and contains vital and mineral substances and trace elements, but is also very tasty. Visit the company in Hall 8F 100.

From Colombia the company Proténica will bring a new product, the special Magdalena River Nut Oil, which is extracted from nuts that grow along the Magdalena River. Due to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E, the native oil offers excellent anti-oxidative and moisturizing properties. Furthermore, clinical studies have proven its anti-aging effect.

The Kyrgyz exporter Biovit presents extracts from chamomile, marigold, Hypericum androsaemum, liquorice and Mumijo/Shilajit.

All companies have been pre-selected and carefully evaluated by IPD. Criteria such as product quality, export capability and capacity as well as compliance with international standards and certifications have been considered.

IPD exporters from Egypt and Tunisia visiting German and Dutch importers

Establishing contacts – presenting products – talking sales – this formed the focus of the Selling Mission to which IPD invited three Egyptian and two Tunisian suppliers to Europe. The exporters have been given the opportunity to present their products to interested importers from Germany and the Netherlands. Therefore, IPD has previously arranged meetings with suitable buyers.

Within five days, the international delegation has visited ten companies and presented their range of nuts and dried fruits in Frankfurt, Cologne, Hamburg, Amsterdam and other cities. The Egyptians particularly brought cashew cornels and dates as well as a wide range of different date products. The Tunisian on the other side encountered great interest with their organic certified products, including dried pomegranate seeds, dates and various date products. Both exporters and the visited importers have been very pleased with the outcome of the individually arranged B2B meetings.

“The personal visit to our company allowed us to comprehensively communicate our needs and requirements to the suppliers without any pressure of time. Thanks to the pre-selection of IPD, we can also be sure that the suppliers are reliable trade partners”, concludes Michael Hebendanz, CEO of Delphi Organic GmbH.

Furthermore, both sides praised the very suitable matchmaking conducted by IPD. Due to the carefully selected exporters, their product range coincided with the actual demand of the buyers. Thus the participants have been able to exchange their experiences directly and negotiate in a targeted manner. The basis for a long-term relationship has been build!
