Kyrgyzstan

Agricultural products from Central Asia

Kyrgyzstan offers a range of top-grade natural ingredients for the food and cosmetics industry. The Central Asian country profits from a long-established agriculture and optimum cultivation conditions for many products that are in great demand in Europe.

Many Kyrgyz companies have no direct access to the German market, mostly because of a lack of product certification and documentation. Up to now they have been forced to sell to middlemen (usually from Turkey) who refine the products and export them into the EU.

The IPD gives direct market access to Kyrgyz exporters to achieve a higher value creation in the processing of food ingredients on-site. The Import Promotion Desk has chosen Kyrgyzstan as one of its partner countries and will set you up with carefully selected and tested suppliers.
