OUR PRODUCT GROUPS FROM EGYPT:

Fresh fruit and vegetables both conventional and organically grown:

Fruit Logistica 2020

Fresh herbs, high-quality fruits and vegetables from new markets
Establish contacts to reliable producers

At the Fruit Logistica 2020 - the trade fair for fruit and vegetables in Berlin - the IPD will once again be mediating carefully selected and reliable suppliers from Egypt, Ethiopia, Ecuador, Peru, Ghana, Ukraine and Côte d`Ivoire to the European trade.
The companies will be presenting a wide range of products, for example:  

  • Physalis, mangos, pomegranates, chillies
  • Avocados, physalis, strawberries, grapes
  • Baby corn, chickpeas, sugar snap peas, pumpkins, onions, etc.

All exporters have been thoroughly evaluated by IPD. Criteria such as product quality, export capability and capacity as well as compliance with international standards and certifications have been considered. The exporters are familiar with the requirements of the EU market and prepared for the export.

Organic products are enjoying more and more demand. The market is growing. There is a lot of potential in developing and emerging countries. But which products are of high quality? Which suppliers are reliable?

IPD supports you in your sourcing.

At Biofach we will be presenting over 30 carefully selected suppliers from Egypt, Ethiopia, Ecuador, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Colombia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia and the Ukraine.
The companies will showcase their diverse range of organic products at the joint stand of IPD and “Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit” (GIZ) and the country pavilions.

All exporters are equipped with the necessary certificates and are familiar with the requirements of European trade.

Fruit Logistica 2020: Pitahayas, Physalis & Co. - Ecuador convinces with fruity variety

Import Promotion Desk (IPD) supports exporters from Ecuador and seven more partner countries at the international trade fair for fruits and vegetables

Bonn/Berlin, 16.01.2020 – Ecuador is known for its biodiversity and offers a wide range of tropical fruits. The South American country lives up to its reputation at this year's Fruit Logistica, which takes place in Berlin from 5. to 7. of February. With bananas, pineapples, pitahayas, physalis and passionfruit, the exhibitors present a richly filled fruit basket (Hall
21 Booth B‐06). Import Promotion Desk (IPD), the German initiative for import promotion, has been supporting the partner country of this year's Fruit Logistica for two years now, and
accompanies producers to the European market. This year the IPD brings six companies from Ecuador to the international trade fair. In total, over 40 companies from eight IPD partner countries ‐ from Egypt, Ethiopia, Ecuador, Côte d`Ivoire, Ghana, Colombia, Peru and the Ukraine ‐ will present their range of fresh fruits and vegetables in Berlin.

Bonn/Berlin, 12.11.2019 – High-quality extracts and exceptional vegetable and fruit pow-ders will be presented by exhibitors from Sri Lanka and Ecuador at this year’s Food Ingredients Europe (FIE), the international trade fair for food ingredients, which takes place from 3 to 5 December in Paris. Due to the high quality of the raw materials and the gentle manufacturing processes, the products retain their high content of nutrients and active components. The Import Promotion Desk (IPD) supports producers from Sir Lanka, Ecuador and other partner countries in presenting their great product diversity and special product quality to international buyers.

Import Promotion Desk (IPD) focuses on organic products: Tropical fruits and high-quality vegetables and herbs from developing and emerging countries

Bonn/Berlin, 17 September 2019 - The demand for organic quality in the fruit and vegetable sector is growing steadily. Experts expect an annual increase of 9 percent each over the next five years (study "Global Organic Fruits and Vegetables Market - Growth, Trends, and Forecast" by the market research company Research and Markets). The Import Promotion Desk (IPD) takes advantage of this trend and supports companies from developing and emerging countries in the certification and marketing of organic products. At this year's Fruit Attraction, which will take place from 22 to 24 October in Madrid, the partner for import promotion will place a special focus on the organic segment from South America and Africa. The IPD supports German importers in their search for super fruits

Klaus Böcker GmbH is an importer of exotic fruit products. Its portfolio comprises fruit juice, paste and concentrate from more than 500 kinds of fruit in more than 500 specifications. To continually expand its range of products, the company is always on the look-out for new suppliers. For this reason, Klaus Böcker GmbH turned to the Import Promotion Desk (IPD) – and made a catch: The IPD provided the German importer with a new trade partner in Egypt.
